Rooted and Fruitful

Art Exhibit at Bridge Church at Bear Creek

Galatians 5:22 describes the fruit of the Spirit—virtues that emerge from a life rooted in faith. Christos Collective, a non-profit organization of artists dedicated to reclaiming God's voice in the visual arts, participated in a collaborative art exploration of these qualities: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

The nine artists who worked on the project each had the opportunity to reflect on and add their artistic contribution to each of the nine works of art. The Fruit of the Spirit Collection presented here is the result of that collaboration, with each piece bearing the marks of multiple artists' meditations on these virtues we aspire to cultivate.

Jennifer Bunge's accompanying works invite viewers to reflect on the life of Jesus, the journey of spiritual growth, and our ongoing effort to follow the Master Gardener who tends our souls.

The nine artists who participated in the Fruit of the Spirit Collection: Sandra Ceas, Tara Smith, Becca Karner, Garrett Larson, Jennifer Bunge, Karin Soderholm, Isaac Karner, Isaac Weaver, Scott Cusack.
