Membership is a mutual commitment. Christos members are expected to:

Christos artist members live all across the U.S. To become a Christos Collective artist member one must first:

  1. Agree with the Faith statement

  2. Observe two consecutive monthly meetings (usually online)

  3. Express a desire to join the group

  4. Present artwork to CEO for consideration

  5. Sign artist agreement and join the community

  6. Contribute monthly membership fee

As a member of Christos Collective, you will enjoy the following:

Community & Faith

  • Be part of a faith-centered fellowship dedicated to nurturing and growing your God-given artistic talents toward excellence.

  • Support one another in both artistic endeavors and personal struggles through prayer.

Artistic Growth

  • Participate in critiques - online meetings, Slack, and online small groups — to sharpen your craft through honest, constructive feedback.

  • Access the collective's shared network of talents, connections, skills, and equipment.

  • Take part in artist panel discussions and community events when opportunities arise.

Exhibition & Exposure

  • Have your work showcased on the Christos Collective website and promotional materials.

  • Submit work to current and future Christos Collective Exhibitions.

  • Receive advance notice of local, national, and international exhibition opportunities beyond the collective's own exhibitions.

Outreach & Participation

  • Be invited to participate in Christos Collective partnership outreach activities.

  • Receive our monthly newsletter featuring organizational updates and artist spotlights.

  • Hold voting privileges at membership meetings.

  • Bring guests who are interested in the collective.

  • Access opportunities to apply for funding and scholarships.

Expectations of Artists Members:

Membership is a mutual commitment. In exchange for the benefits above, members are expected to:

Attendance

  • Attend a minimum of 3 monthly meetings per year.

Artistic Participation

  • Actively create art for exhibition and engage in the critique process — both receiving and offering feedback to fellow members.

  • Sign a participation contract for each Christos Collective Exhibition, which includes taking on designated volunteer tasks to help the event succeed.

Volunteering

  • Dedicate 2–4 volunteer hours per month toward Christos Collective programming or outreach activities; volunteer tasks may be assigned by the Project Manager.

Membership Dues

  • Contribute a monthly membership fee supporting programming and operations, and receive a donation receipt for your records.
